His Love for the Believer
At our “Greek Women’s Discipleship Breakfast” on Friday morning and on Joel’s “Man-cation Ski Trip” with the guy leaders this weekend, we had the students do the following little exercise. I highly recommend it for warming your affections for Christ this Valentine’s Day week!
Write out what would be true of you if it weren’t for Christ:
(students said insightful things such as–they would have killed themselves, they would be moral but deceived, they would be purposeless, etc.)
Write out what is positionally and becoming practically true of you now that Christ has rescued your life:
(they said things like–new purpose in life, hope, the Holy Spirit, etc.)
And then we meditated on the incredible truths of Ephesians 1, placing the students name in the place of the personal pronouns.
Then we spent time in prayer praising and thanking God for what He has done for us in Christ.
Hope you’ll take some time to meditate on this yourself and share it with someone else!

Girl, You know how to do it all with the special touch. The bookmark is great. I have had people do the basic Ephesians 1 first person pronoun excercise but boy did I miss the beautiful style you have offered others.
Proud to be your Momma!
