It seems Joel may have thrown in the towel on blogging, so I thought I would catch you up to speed on all the hard work Hubs has been putting forth on campus and here at home!
A glimpse from last week…
Monday: work during the day, lead senior guys Bible study at night
Tuesday: staff meeting, work during the day, host a steak dinner with First Baptist for all the fraternity presidents and pledge trainers. (He got an amazing response and another co-ed study has come about because of this!)
Wednesday: work during the day, lead the Chi Omega/Sigma Chi co-ed study that night
Thursday: staff prayer, studying/preparing, spoke at CRU’s weekly meeting “Portraits of Redemption in the Old Testament: How Moses points to Christ”
Friday: because he worked 24/7 the whole week, this day was designated for home reno/repair…because we have house guests all this week!
Here’s some of his major progress recently.
The mantle/lack thereof as of last month:
I walked into the kitchen and thought, “Huh. There is a mantle in my kitchen…”
Look what we found behind the mantle!!
Isn’t that so crazy?!? I think we might frame it…
Pause construction for a baby shower:
And now…almost done!
So close to being finished. This Hubs deserves an award! So there you have glimpse of Joel’s life recently. Here’s hoping his Rebel’s pull out a win this Thursday over the Gamecocks…or he will never hear the end of it from our students :)
