We had a great time with Joel’s family in Memphis…here are some of the pictorial highlights!
Thanksgiving dinner at Sugar and Sweetie’s was a taste of Heaven! Here’s the kids’ table :)
Then don’t forget Thanksgiving Day’s meal at the Hurdle’s! It’s funny all the foods that I have never been exposed to before…butter beans, congealed salad, cornbread dressing, stuffed celery?
What fun new delicacies!
And of course, we enjoyed time with Anne and Tippy Toes…
I couldn’t resist posting these two photos of the miniature horse…they were just too cute!
Tippy Toes was all up in my business.
The Granddaughters and Sweetie!
Fun with the sisters-in-law!
Mischief with the sisters-in-law…exhibit A…kidnapping the mother-in-law!
For Christmas, Mrs. Anita wanted the gift of “time spent together”. So, early one morning we kidnapped her and took her to McDonald’s for breakfast. She thought THAT was the surprise, but then we treated her to a massage that she hadn’t cashed in on from her birthday and we all got our nails done too! So fun! :)
Joel shot an 8-point buck…
And now I am learning to cook 8-point buck!
There you have it! Our Thanksgiving trip to Memphis/Mississippi in a nutshell! Hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving. Have a great week :)
