There is sooo much I am dying to post with regards to Greek Summit and the amazing things we saw God do there. But, for now, we have an urgent prayer request. In fact, it seems as if every 5-minutes we’ve been standing in need of prayer…but, as I was reminded by a godly couple tonight, “to everything there is a season”.
I’ve been experiencing shoulder pain for the past year or so, doing PT, cortisone shots, etc. But to no avail. I had an MRI done yesterday and I went to get the results today.
It looked like a cyst in my shoulder, then they made me get an X-ray and it seems that in addition to the cyst in my shoulder, there is some sort of weird looking tumor in my humerus bone (the bicep part of my arm). It looked big (to us–but anything looks big to you when you’re the one being x-rayed!) on the x-ray and the doctor said it looks to be “scalloping and eating” away at my bone…So, I’m getting a 3 Phase full-body bone scan and CT scan on Monday.
The doctor was really quiet and just wasn’t sure what to say it was, while the nurse kept saying, “Holy Cow! Oh my GOSH!” I felt like smacking her with my one good arm!! :)
We are feeling pretty shaken up, yet know that God is good and that everything He does is good. W would just love prayer! We won’t know any results till Friday. Hopefully, it will be absolutely nothing, but we will keep y’all posted!
Please be praying for the scans on Monday to come back perfectly normal!!
