Answered prayers!

Great news…our students are having a blast at the Encounter Winter Conference!

Today was the “Day of Outreach”. We went into the inner-city of Greensboro to give away holiday care packages. People in the community were very excited to receive boxes full of food, Bibles and toiletries!

Yesterday, Joel helped equip Greek students in doing ministry back on their campuses. Today, I led a seminar that  trained all the conference “first-timers” on how to share their faith. Then we headed out into the community….and many people heard the Gospel today!

Tonight we will have a dinner for our campus and the focus of the main meeting will be overseas missions. Please continue to pray for the remainder of the conference! Praise the Lord that students are having fun and that they are Encountering Christ the Redeemer and are engaging the lost world!

Encounter Christ the Redeemer

encounterThis week, Joel and I are working in Greensboro, North Carolina at the “Encounter Winter Conference”. We are helping to host over 1,000 college students up until we ring in 2009! There will be great speakers, amazing praise and worship, breakout seminars that will equip students to walk with the Lord and to share their faith with others, a great New Year’s Eve party and other fun experiences.

Please pray for us as we serve and minister to these young people. Traditionally, many students make serious lordship decisions during this conference. Hundreds have been called to the mission field as a result of this week. Please pray for God to move and work this week. We are praying for revival!
