It’s Frat-Day

As a spoof of the highly-ridiculous, yet highly-viewed music video “It’s Friday” by Rebecca Black, I am pleased to announce that today is Frat-Day. Yes, the first Greek Impact is tonight at 8:48.

Please pray for Joel as he speaks, our leaders as they reach out and for each and every individual who walks into that house that doesn’t know Jesus. We want to see Revival start tonight for God’s glory!

Please Join the Prayer Chain!

Tonight is our March Greek Impact meeting and we’d love for you to please join us in lifting Greek Village up over the next 24-hours!

Our students have organized a prayer chain if you’d like to join in…here is a peak at their hearts.

Hey yall,

So we thought it might be wonderful to be able to be praying for 24 hours continuously. Prayer will start this wednesday at noon (so we can be praying for hearts to be moved, attendance, speakers, etc for Greek Impact that night) until noon on Thursday (for follow ups! continued seeking, etc.)

We just assigned 2 hours each to chapters who were at the planning meeting, so if your chapter isn’t listed PLEASE feel free to jump in wherever, round up your house team for some simple, intentional, genuine prayer.

Here’s the list:

So excited to be in prayer with the greek village today! Just wanted to share some specific prayer points…

– Open doors
Colossians 4:2-4 “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversations be always fill of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know who to answer everyone.”

– Undivided hearts and a heart of flesh
Ezekiel 11:19 “I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.”

– Opened minds
Luke 24:45 “Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.”

– Opened eyes
Acts 26:18 “I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in [Jesus]”

– Veiled removed from their eyes
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age had blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ.”

– Godly sorrow
2 Corinthians 7:9-10 “Yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation.”

– Favor among men, repentance, for them to come to their senses and escape the devil’s will
2 Timothy 2:24-26 “And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”

– God draw the entire Greek Village to him, revival
John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him”

Pray with an expectant hearts! We have a BIG God- pray boldly and confidently that He is might to save!!! Love y’all :)
