Smoking a 300-pound hog. ((That took 5 grown men to load into the smoker!)We ate more southern delicacies than should be legal.
(My favorite quote from this barbecue was “I can still breathe. I need to eat some more.”)
We shot skeet in the back yard.
We had fun times visiting some supporters.
And we had a wonderful time water skiing with Uncle Steve, Emily, Maggie, Heather, and Lucas! There are sooo many photos of this hilarious adventure that you’ll have to wait till tomorrow to see all those. Gotta go narrow down the embarrassment.
I have three hobbies that I really want to explore and develop this summer…
1. Photography-I’ve loved since I was a little girl…I would wait in line for hours at Drug Emporium for my 67 rolls of film to be developed.
2. Cooking-I always want to cook great meals and this summer I have a lot more time to try things out.
3. Sewing-My mom always tried to teach me…however, my attention span was is only about 20 minutes long.
Basically, I am just learning through trial and error in all these areas! All advice is welcome.
Here are some of my photog sessions.
Thanks to all those cuties, I am calling to price out a “Smocking Class” tomorrow :)
But seriously, any of you blog-togaphers out there, I’d love some comments on tips you’ve learned about photography, books or sites you’ve read, lens recommendations, and any advice right off the bat from looking at these samples, etc.
Join us on our wild adventure of following Him & loving them!
